Show notes & source links
Write a rundown together and jump to moments in YouTube references.
Show notes
Keep your rundown, source links, and timecodes together. Open Show notes from the Editor menu, create a note, and choose the Planning, Recording, or Directing layout.
Write together
Changes save as you work. The note owner can invite people from the same workspace as hosts or viewers. Hosts can contribute; viewers can read. Workspace membership alone does not add someone to a note's roster.
References and YouTube previews
Put a YouTube link at the start of a paragraph or list item. Rewind recognizes youtube.com/watch, youtu.be, youtube.com/shorts, and youtube.com/live links when the URL has a valid video ID.
## Cold open
- [The opening](https://youtu.be/M7lc1UVf-VE) @ 12:34–13:10
13:02 - Take the second answer.
13:08–13:10 - Button out.
Replace the example link and times with your source. Keep timestamp lines together immediately below that source. A heading, ordinary paragraph, or new source ends the previous cue group. Points accept M:SS and H:MM:SS; ranges retain both endpoints.
Each recognized reference gets an official YouTube player preview. The player keeps its controls visible and does not autoplay. Cue buttons seek the matching player. Jump accepts a timestamp and Enter submits it. Copy current time copies the current position, and Copy timestamp link copies a YouTube link with its timestamp. While the provider is loading or unavailable, controls stay disabled and Open on YouTube remains available.
Hosted Live workspaces use external links for viewing and timestamp review. An external provider reference cannot be downloaded, archived, clipped, or exported as a hosted source. Owned private recordings remain available to the workspace editor and can be used in the normal Cut and Stitch workflows.
Internal references
References to owned recordings, clips, and markers keep their existing Rewind behavior. A range can become a clip only through the available confirmation flow. The source stays in the workspace recording library.
